Building Permits

The Construction Code Authority of Saskatchewan works with municipalities to provide inspection services for residential, farms, and commercial construction and renovations. Contractors they are hired from outside of the Town of Cut Knife are required to purchase a business license. Click here to download the form. Once filled out please email or drop off the copy at the Town Office with payment.

The building process involves bylaw compliance, permit applications and inspections. Links to the most frequently requested application packages are below. These documents are a useful reference for planning a project, and can also be downloaded, filled out, and submitted once all the information for the project has been gathered.

NOTE: Development and Building Permits are a mandatory requirement for the Town of Cut Knife. All permit applications must be submitted and approved before any project begins. The permit process may take some time so it is recommended that applications be submitted well in advance of the project start date.

Permits are valid for up to one year.
