Emergency Services

The Cut Knife Health Complex does not offer emergency services. You must call for an ambulance or visit an Emergency department at one of the nearby hospitals.

DIAL 9-1-1 for immediate attention.

The Cut Knife ambulance will be dispatched via MD Ambulance in Saskatoon. It will transport you to the nearest emergency department, which for Cut Knife residents, is the Battlefords Union Hospital in North Battleford.

AMBULANCE SERVICES

MD Ambulance in Saskatoon must receive a 9-1-1 call in order for the Cut Knife ambulance to be dispatched.

The Cut Knife ambulance dispatch area reaches

  • north to the Battle River and includes Little Pine First Nation and Poundmaker Cree Nation;
  • south to the Cloan grid road;
  • east up to Sweetgrass First Nation, and
  • west to the Neilburg area.

For 9-1-1 calls, be ready to provide your civic address, or the land location where you are situated. You also may be asked for a list of your medications and/or allergies. It is good practice to have this information readily accessible, for example, by having it pinned to your refrigerator.

Cut Knife ambulance service is governed, licensed, and registered by the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
