CUT KNIFE COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Cut Knife Community School offers programming from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school is situated within the Living Sky School Division and serves students from the Town of Cut Knife and surrounding area including the communities of Baldwinton, Gallavan, Little Pine First Nation, Poundmaker Cree Nation, Rockhaven, and Sweetgrass First Nation.
In September 2019, Cut Knife Community School was formed when the Cut Knife Elementary School staff and students joined together with those from the Cut Knife High School. To read more about the amalgamation, please click here.
The school’s participating a lot with the community, and we’ve got lots of extra curricular activities… We’ve got volleyball; we’ve got basketball; we have the rink right across the street, so we skate in the winter; we go skiing… When kids come to a small school, it’s more like a family, and we try to bring as many experiences to the kids as we can.

I believe the main goal of Cut Knife High School is to prepare our students to leave this building and go into the world knowing that their voices are strong and their dreams can come to fruition if they have a work ethic, and believe in themselves as we believe in them.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY COUNCIL
School Community Councils work with schools to support the learning success and well-being of all children and youth. Councils encourage and facilitate parent, community and youth engagement in school planning and the school improvement process.
