Notice, Town of Cut Knife

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Pursuant to The Municipalities Act, public notice is hereby given that the Town of Cut Knife intends to restructure by adding the following lands from the R.M. of Cut Knife No. 439 to the Town of Cut Knife.

The land intended to be added to the Town of Cut Knife is described as Parcel A, Plan No. 68B02045 and Parcel A, Plan No. 1015316663.

The reasons for the proposal are:

• The councils of the Town of Cut Knife and the R.M. of Cut Knife No. 439 feel it is mutually beneficial for the property to be within the boundaries of the Town of Cut Knife.
• The land is immediately adjacent to the Town of Cut Knife and will be owned by the Town of Cut Knife.

PUBLIC MEETING: A public meeting will be held to discuss the proposal at 7pm, September 14, 2020 at the municipal office at 102 Broad Street.

WRITTEN OBJECTION: Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed restructuring may file a written objection with the administrator of the Town of Cut Knife, stating clearly their reason for their opposition.

• A written notice of objection must be received by the administrator by September 30, 2020.
