New Year’s Message, Mayor, Town of Cut Knife

I would like to thank everyone for their assistance in keeping our community safe. This year has been a different year, and in some ways a difficult year with many new kinds of challenges.

I’m proud of our community. I’m proud of the way businesses, families, and individuals have contributed to the community cheer baskets and the gifts for the residents in the Cut Knife long term facility. Sometimes, the smallest act will mean the world to someone.

Please take the time to check in on the neighbours and family. The holiday season, this year especially, can be a sad and lonely time for some.

As we reflect, there are still many things to be thankful for. Together, we will work towards a return to normal. It may have to be a new normal, but with the kindness and generosity of spirit I’ve witnessed in the recent weeks, I have no doubt Cut Knife will come out the other side in good shape.

With that in mind, I would like to wish each of you a very happy new year and the best in 2021.

Sincerely,
Gwenn Kaye
