Many thanks to all the vendors and to all the shoppers who made this event a success!
The Town of Cut Knife organized and hosted a Christmas Craft Fair at the Cut Knife Community Hall on Saturday, October 30.
More than 25 vendors offered goods from baked and canned items to woodworking and photography to other home-based businesses that offered many things including jewelery, sheets, and scented items. The shoppers that came through took advantage of being able to shop at home for Christmas gifts, even if the gifts were for themselves.

In addition to the many booths at the event, the Cut Knife United Church offered a great lunch for a reasonable price. The Christmas Cheer fund also sold tickets for their draw on a large popcorn barrel of goodies perfect for a movie night, including tickets for movies at the local Elks Theatre. This was the first in a number of fundraisers for this year and the winner of the draw was Lyle Cronk.
The weather cooperated, providing good roads for the many people who attended.
The entire event was organized by Cut Knife Mayor Gwenn Kaye and Administrative Assistant for the Town of Cut Knife, Cindy Olchowecki. They were both on hand to help out and sell tickets for Chase the Ace, raising money for some of the Town’s organizations.

It was a great event and hopes are that it will become an annual affair.
