Due to the over abundance of crows and magpies in the Town of Cut Knife, pest control will be undertaken within Town limits, as needed, in coming days.
Four individuals have been appointed to carry this out and have registered as appointed shooters with the local RCMP detachment. Each individual will notify the detachment when they’ll be active outdoors. If you hear shooting and would like to confirm this is an appointed shooter, you are welcome to call the detachment at 306-398-3500. Stay on the line and a local officer will answer. If the office is closed, the call will be forwarded to the Dispatch Centre where a dispatch officer will contact a local on-duty officer.

CITIZEN NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
The Town of Cut Knife has initiated a citizen notification system whereby we can alert our residents in the event of an emergency or a disruption in service i.e. a water main break, or a boil water advisory, etc. For that reason, we request that all residents supply the Town Office with an active telephone number, either for a landline or a mobile phone. Please call, drop by, or email the Office with your contact information, if you have not already done so.
