Donate Your Used Bricks, LEGO Replay

“We know that a problem a lot of teachers are having is that their learning and play materials cannot be used in the classroom right now because they don’t have enough to go around.”

Lauren O’Hara, LEGO Spokesperson via CTV NEWS

From the LEGO website:

WHAT IS LEGO REPLAY?

LEGO Replay wants to inspire LEGO brick owners to pass along the bricks they aren’t using. Play has the power to change children’s lives. When children play, they learn how to problem solve, collaborate, and think creatively. The LEGO Replay program makes it easy for families to pass LEGO bricks onto children in need of play in a circle of kindness that goes around and round.

WHAT KINDS OF LEGO BRICKS CAN I DONATE?

Any and all. Duplo, small bricks, big bricks. They don’t need to be full sets. Just place whatever bricks you’d like to donate inside a box and print your free shipping label. You can then drop the box off at your local shipping office.

DO I NEED TO CLEAN MY BRICKS BEFORE I DONATE?

Thank you for the offer but no, you don’t. Our high quality processing partners will be sorting and cleaning the bricks before donation. To help them in their job, you can try to remove obviously damaged or disfigured bricks from your donation, as well as any batteries, and other miscellaneous items. Big bricks do not have to be separated from little bricks.

WHERE CAN I SHIP FROM?

You can ship from any Canadian province.

WHERE DO YOUR BRICKS GO?

We are working with organizations such as, Right to Play, True North Aid and the Nova Scotia Ministry of Education to give your bricks new life. The LEGO Replay program makes it easy for families to pass LEGO bricks onto children in need of play in a circle of kindness that goes around and round.
